Well, my! Getting ready for a wedding is quite a job!

This morning, before work, I had to collect our badges and covers from the post office. then I needed to drop a CD at the local ABC Radio station, so they could mention us on the local music roundup this afternoon.

Now I am at work, but I am only working for 4 hours so I can go collect plastic CD covers. Oh, and collect our guitars from the music store. After that, somehow, I have to screenprint 10 tshirts with Shell.

Tomorrow, my day will begin at about 8am. At this time, I will go to the Office Works-erary and photocopy the pages of our zine that will be inserted in the CD. At 11am we have our final rehearsal, and our first with the whole band for about 5 weeks. Heh...

After the jam, some of us will participate in a 'Craft craft session. We will all cut out bits of paper, staple and fold them, stick labels on CDs and so on.

On Saturday, I will need to get decorations for the venue, some party favours to eat and meet with the venue manager to organise the layout.

I don't think I'll get the website uploaded 'til the week after, but I'll try!

Then!! Then!! We will get our frocks together. All I can tell you so far (the inside scoop) is that I am wearing a pink frothy number, Nods is considering gold, shiny taffeta, Simi is in white with sequins, Shell is having trouble finding a frock and i have no clue about Janice. But Janice is so clever, she could go to Spotlight two hours before we play and find a metre of fabric and swathe it around herself and end up looking like a gazillion dollars. She's clever like that....

We are having our makeup done by a lovely pal called Alison. and we have two hairdressers in our band. Are we not going to be the spunkiest things in Newie??!!
