Have to talk about my new boobs. No, I have not had plastic surgery to insert watery sacs into my breasts. But rather about what happens when you go from so-thin-you-will-blow-over-in-the-wind to your normal weight. The years of smoking pot and not eating properly, being very stressed all the time and generally not looking after myself very well had cause me to be much thinner than I should have been. It also meant I had no boobs - and I mean NOTHING. Now that I have been straight for a couple of months, I have had quite an appetite and gone up a dress size. With this came a new set! And in the last week or so, I had noticed physical activity causing my chest area to hurt a bit. I needed support! So last weekend I went and bought my first bra - for about ten years.

I went to Grace Bros first, so I could get someone to measure me as I had no clue what size I was. A young lass did this and informed me I was a 14A. Ha ha! Still to small to register much on the boob size radar. So I went and found some bras and tried them on. I had taken Dame with me, and whilst he was happy to look at bras and help me choose, it wasn’t so peachy when I went in to try them on. He said he felt like he was a man, alone, lurking in the bra section of the department store.

So I bought two - one underwire, one without. It was such a novelty. I wore one to rehearsal that night and showed the girls my new boobs in a bra. It felt kinda weird to wear one, and after a few hours I had to take it off. Now I wear one most days, and will have to buy more.
