Friday 22nd March saw Bitchcraft playing at the Hunter On Hunter, which now hosts bands in the front bar. The back bar now has the added feature that the roof meets the floor (um, the roof is caving in), and it looks pretty full on.

Anyhow, it was one of the more enjoyable shows I have played in awhile, becuase we dressed up and it was hella fun. The day before the show I went to Nadia's and selected a costume for myself: gold satin hotpants and midriff top, with black zipper boots. But I think it was Simone and Janice who took the cake that night: Simone wore a red leotard that had little strings of beads hanging off it, and she wore ballet jiffies; Janice wore another red combo of leotard covered in sequins, with a cape. The other two girls, Michelle and Nadia were our bitches and didn't dress up.

Simone did our make up, from this big pallette of eighties colours she scored from her old work. Fucking awesome frightwig style makeup, with pink-as rosy cheeks. Add to that scarily teased hair and we were demented dancers, thats for sure.

Feedback included that we looked 'scary' so I was stoked. We all played a bit more full on cuz we were excited about being so freaky looking.

There will be more dressing up from Bitchcraft after this stellar effort.
