Today is the sixth day in a row it has rained. I have to be careful of Dame, who is curently vergnig on insanity, due to the fact he bought a new skateboard approximately 9 days ago. Get with it! It means he can't skate, and sheesh....

It is currently student holidays, which make my workplace akin to a ghost town. There are no teachers or students, and most of the support staff decide its a good time to take leave. Just freaks like me (that is, the part-time casuals), who don't get paid if they don't work, are still hanging around.

Bitchcraft are hotting up for the big CD launch this weekend. Last night Simi and I did cut and paste for about 3hrs. Mostly silence, lots of cutting, glue and cups of tea. Then Shell and I went a did a bit of a poster run - it was pretty random, but we figure that coverage is coverage. Hey, we even had an article in Uturn last week! And we have placed an ad in the new one! How organised are we!

Tomorrow, Shell and I will print tshirts and hopefully I won't forget to collect the CD covers and badges from the post office. Oh, and I must not forget to collect guitars from the music store where they are being restrung and just generally loved. On Friday, I will copy the zines and the band has a practice. Saturday is all about food and staging. I will get snacks and munchies, and some decorations. Oh, I want to make cheesy bride posters too.

The preparation has been frenentic, and all my spare time goes on the launch. I kinda will be glad when its done, so I don't have to spend al waking hours thinking abuot it.

But we are doing very well, having made 200 CDs, promoted a launch gig and had merchandise, all for around $600 bucks. Everything is made by humans and just has a little less of that pre-fab, mass produced feel. We even have to hand cut the little zines for the CDs. I think that is when girls will complain - cutting out hundreds of 12cm x 24cm pieces of paper.
