OH, god. I have been trying to sleep, have an arvo nap but it hasn’t been possible. The joys of living with 3 little girls 4 and under. I would just start to drift off when some noise would wake me…the boisterous things. And then I laugh, because they aren’t doing anything wrong, just playing and stuff.

Tonight is a big night, a gig night. I have been planning a big partay stylee night for about a week now. Last night I went out, but was home by midnight and in bed at 1am. But I was awake by 7am. Now I fear my ability to have the big night I craved, as its only 4pm and I am yawning my guts out.

There is all that stuff about spending time with oneself, to get independence, to learn yo’self and gather strength. Well, I know myself acutely well, have been independent since I can remember and I’m about as strong as they come. And its been a loooong time since I had fun on a regular basis. So that is my priority for now – making sure I have fun.

Watch out boys, the girl’s next door, she’s gonna run run run with your heart once more…..
