'm just gonna shut up and not talk about how I haven't written for ages.

Last weekend, Bitchcraft went to Sydney!!! It was the first time we were gonna be playing shows other than Scooter ones at the Imperial Hotel. Though both of them are what you would probably call 'chick shows'.

We left home on Saturday afternoon, it was pretty hot and Stripey is not the touring van of choice. Its fucking great, and I could travel in it for ages, but its a view not always shared.

Nods drove on the freeway, and I drove in Sydney, being the veteran. We arrived in time to check in to our hotel. We were feeling very schmick, as I had booked us into a kick arse 3 star hotel in the guts of Surry Hills.

Then it was off to the Hopetoun Hotel, where we were to bejoining the Valentines Day Massacre show, as first on the bill. I had been grumblin' a bit about going on at 7pm, sooo early. But it turned out to be not so bad!

There was a good crowd of 30 keen folks - we played like it was a full house. As such, the 'craft impressed those that were present, mightily. After we played there were all sorts of folks coming and talking to us and giving us their numbers so we could play with their band. Phew - mission accomplished.

I went back to the hotel to drop off the gear and my van, so then I was free to drink.

Back at the venue, I had missed the Booby Traps, but was just in time to see Hell City Glamours. OH MY GOD!! Bitchcraft and hell City Glamours were seperated at birth or something! We loved them and they were heaps keen to play with us. And for their last song, Simi got up and sang! We rule, truly...its AAALLLLL about us!

Ampirellas played, and they had some good somngs. I was shocked to see the singer had gone from long brunette locks to short and blonde! I liked the songs she sang a lot. But the rest was a bit without standout.

Gazoonga Attack were last and they were very cool. Lots of movement, hot licks and yellin' stuff. One of their guitarists is sooo freakin' sexy I could hardly help it! But I was very pissed too.

I had gotten pissed because (as I told Nods) I wanted to be to pissed to care that a couple of guys were doing really shit lines of conversation in an effort to pick up. If I am pissed I don't get as embarrassed and can deal better. And the bar dude gave me cheap drinks. (Beer and a vodka = $5)

After the show was over, we hung around being pissed, getting phone numbers from hot Hell City Glamour guys, telling eachother how good we were and generally trying to attract attention.

Then we went to the hotel and became crack whores. I walked in to find Nods and Simi smokin' 'em up in the bath, drinkin' Nods' home-brewed gin. Janice and I got into it and we all got trashed for the next two hours. But we had to go to bed as Simi and Janice had hairdresser training the next day.

We woke up at 8am and I walked the girls to the training salon in Suzza and then bought some pastry and the paper for me and Nods. I got back to find Nods' on the couch, watching music videos with her legs slaked in delipadatory cream (hair remover). Classy.

Nods and I had to wile away the day, but it wasn't as easy as just hanging out in Sydeny. We had a van full of gear so we could not leave the car for any length of time. I can't really remember all the day, as I was so dog tired, but we did a lot of sitting in parks. We did manage to go to a cafe in Newtown, where we got a car park out the front and we could see the gear.

At 5pm we drove back to Suzza and picked up the hairdressers. From there, we whizzed off to the gig at the Annandale. It was another hot day and we were stoked to find that the Annandale (like the Hopetoun the night before) was air conditioned. The gear was loaded we found out what time we were playing and headed off for dinner. I only mention this at all because of the 'take away food incident' where Nods fell of her' suicide shoes' and twisted her ankle. Not very good...

Back at the gig, Fingered Rogered Vulvas were playing and they were funny, glittery girls. Singing about sex and dykes and shit and making moaning noises. They made me laugh!

Next were Charlie, a new band on the Scooter/Tryke scene. Even though they were Nu metal, they were interesting enough. And nice folks too!

Bitchcraft were next, and we were all very tired. Stupidly so. I don't remember the gig much, but we played a very short set to a dwindling crowd - the worst kind of crowd!

As soon as we played we left, for the 2 hour drive home. I was freakin' tired, but had to drive all the way home (because of aforesaid fall from the suicide shoes). I was a bit scared about it, but once I got out there it wasn't too bad. Janice was a hella cool shotgun, keepin' the conversation flowin'. I had to drink coke and eat chocolate but I made it so hell tired that I couldn't go to work the next day.
